Allstars F.C. has suffered there 2nd loss of the season. Allstars F.C. started off flat with only 9 players for much of the 1st half. Southborough United took advantage of that & scored 2 goals before the half.
Allstars F.C. was at full strength in the 2nd half but fighting an uphill battle being 2-0 down. The team looked hopeful to score on a few chances but to no avail we hit the cross bar or the shot went wide. Southborough United with there slow play & skillful players kept us out the game with mental mistake made by Allstars F.C.
Those mental mistakes caused the 3rd goal to score, with miscommunication by the Allstars F.C. defender & goalie. Making the score 3-0 at the end of the whistle.
Before this result Allstars F.C. won the last 2 games against Natick F.C. (3-2) & Concord United (3-2)
As of right now there are 3 teams tied for 1st place with as you can see above & with the final 5 games left in the season Allstars F.C. is looking forward to winning the division, in the playoffs & move up to Division 1 in the fall.
This weekends opponent will be Needham F.C. which we won our 1st game of the season.
